I cannot express the feeling of gratitude I currently feel. I have a very difficult situation with a loved one, and as these things go I cannot talk about this to the people closest to us. I was just at my end. I googled, found this link, and clicked on it. There was the option for online chat and I just hoped someone would be on the other end. I was able to talk live to someone (James) about a loved one who needs help, openly and without fear of judgment. I have not become this close to a person in such a short time before. I was very hesitant to do an inpatient rehab program but I finally hit my bottom when my fiancé left me and I was struggling to even get out of bed in the morning. So I decided to go to serenity for a month-long rehab program I was at Serenity for a week and realized it was more of a detox program than a rehab. So they transferred me to Highwatch after a week of treatment, I spent another 42 days there and it was the best thing that ever happened to me! I only regret that I didn’t start my recovery sooner. I just recently got 6 months sober and I couldn’t have done it without the care and support from the people of Serenity and Highwatch. Thank you so much for giving me my life back!!
